What Happens If I Sign up With a Cell Phone Number?

Texty Pro does not support cell phone numbers.

If you sign up for Texty Pro using your mobile phone number, our system will attempt to provision it for SMS text messaging. However, this process will not succeed because your mobile number is already configured for SMS and MMS through your cellular provider. Most mobile carriers do not permit text message routing through third-party services, which prevents the provisioning from completing successfully.

What Phone Number Can I Use With Texty Pro?

You can use a business landline or VoIP phone number with Texty Pro. These types of numbers can be provisioned to send and receive SMS and MMS messages through the platform.

Mobile phone numbers cannot be used with Texty Pro because they are already configured for texting through your cellular provider. Carriers do not allow mobile numbers to route messages through third-party services like Texty Pro.

Residential numbers, personal numbers, virtual numbers, short codes, toll-free numbers, and numbers from free applications such as Google Voice are not supported.

Any signup attempts using unsupported numbers will result in account closure.
